👩🏼‍🔧 Track 1 – Python – Word guessing game (for beginners)
In this workshop, we will implement a word guessing game in python. You are new to programming? Then this workshop is perfect for you. You will learn how to handle different data types and code your first if-else statement and loops. We will work together on the game and everyone will have enough time to first solve the small tasks by herself.
You only need a Google account to participate, we will work in google colab. No need to install anything.

👩🏼‍🔧 Track 2 – Design with Wireframes (for beginners)
In this workshop, you will get a small insight into how it comes from an idea to the first wireframes. In the first step, we will break down an idea so that we can prepare it for the target group. Because the most important thing in a good design is to make it interesting for the target group. In the second step, we will work together to create a so-called user journey for the idea. We will present this user journey with hand-drawn wireframes and you can simply admire your first work with pen and paper.
Previous knowledge is not necessary.

👩🏼‍🔧 Track 3 – Building a small app with React and Material
In this session, we will build our own web app using React and Material. We will learn about typescript, react in general, and the tooling that comes with it.
We will use Visual Studio Code as our editor. If you can not install it you can use an online editor like Stackblitz. In order to not spend too much time on design, we will use the Material library, a library full of mobile-first developed components. We will learn how to customize Material’s theme in order to get the most out of it.

👩🏼‍🔧 Track 4 – Build your own website with HTML and CSS (for beginners)
In this session, we will create our own website with HTML and CSS and host it on GitHub to make it available on the internet. We will learn how to include images and give our website a certain something by using CSS. During this workshop, we will also look into search engine optimization to make sure that your website gets higher ranked on Google.
We will use Visual Studio Code as our editor. If you can not install it you can use an online editor like Stackblitz.
In order to host your website, you will be required to create an account on GitHub.
