❓ What will we do this session?
In this session we have an expert in the house! 🙀🤩

As some of you might know, Windows 11 requires a lot of people to replace their still-good computers, which is pretty wasteful. This session will be your epic journey to get to know a bit of the Linux Operating System and try it for yourself and truly make it work for your daily life – keeping you secure and up to date on the internet.

Our guest, the friendly neighborhood nerd, will be your guide on this journey supporting you on this adventure and teaching you various (computer) survival skills so you can be a brave adventurer. You can check out her website: https://links.stargazer.at/

🚀 To keep your energy level up there will be free drinks 🥤 and pizza 🍕

🎒 What do I need to bring?
Please bring your laptop, a good mood, and curiosity – if you really can’t bring your own we have some laptops you can borrow. A penguin plushy is completely optional 🐧😊

About our study groups: our sessions are for women, or anyone who identifies as one, who would like to get into programming, learn a new programming language, do programming homework or wants to connect!
This is your chance to learn in a relaxed setting with other women. The study groups are free, no prior knowledge is required, and everybody is able to work at their own pace.
It’s also a time to have fun, network, and ask our mentors about how they got into working in tech roles (all our mentors are women who work in the tech area).

We hope to see you there! 👋
